We’re pleased to announce that the highly anticipated 2024 conference is just around the corner. This year’s event, themed ‘Impact and Value in a time of finite resources’ promises to be a thought-provoking experience.

You will recall that we were scheduled to host in Cardiff, unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we have had to change the original location and we are therefore delighted to confirm that the conference will now be held in the heart of Bristol from 11-13 June 2024, at The Bristol Hotel, which boasts a magnificent location enviably situated on the quayside of the Floating Harbour. The venue is just a short trip over the bridge from Cardiff, so we hope this change won’t cause too much inconvenience for those who will be attending.

The Early Bird pre-booking is now open. As a member, you have the opportunity to secure the discounted Early Bird rate by pre-booking places before 28 March. To make the most of this offer, you only need to decide how many places you would like to purchase and the appropriate packages. Once you have pre-booked, you can then provide delegate names in April when full registration opens.

The conference will kick off with a networking dinner on 11 June at The Bristol Hotel. The hotel provides a lovely river view and is surrounded by the best of Bristol’s Old City and maritime history. The hotel is a short distance away from Brunel’s SS Great Britain, where we will hold our Conference Dinner on the second evening. The SS Great Britain, one of the most important historic ships in the world, offers an impressive historical background and a unique dining experience.

We have an exciting programme and line-up of guest speakers (we’ll be announcing who they are soon so keep an eye out for updates) over 12-13 June, with sessions on driving cultural change, access to justice, delivering with limited resources, engagement with under-represented groups and ensuring impact. This year, we’re happy to announce that the summer seminar, which takes place after the final day of the conference, will focus on the hot topic of utilising generative AI to assist caseworkers in focusing on added value.

Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to network with fellow members, learn from experts in the field, and gain valuable insights into how to drive improvements in your sector.

Please note that whether you book through the early bird pre-booking or the standard booking, you will still need to register for the conference. After purchasing your ticket(s), you will need to individually register for the conference when full registration opens in April when you can book what workshops you would like to attend. To secure the discounted rate, make sure to return your completed forms by 28 March. After this date, the full standard conference rates will apply.

We hope you take advantage of this exclusive offer and look forward to seeing you at the conference in Bristol!
