A multiple teaching-award winning Senior Lecturer in International Business and Sustainability Dr Sigrun Wagner led the introduction of a sustainability (now corporate responsibility) pathway for undergraduate students and took a lead role in the development of her institution’s environmental strategy, working together with senior academic and professional services staff. In 2020, she published a textbook on environmental sustainability for businesses with Routledge, and in 2021 she introduced Carbon Literacy Training to Royal Holloway - initially offered to students only and subsequently to academic and professional services staff, praised as a welcome community initiative bringing together various stakeholders of the institution.
