Simetrica-Jacobs
Edward is Chief Economist at Simetrica-Jacobs, a research consultancy focused on helping organisations to understand and
measure their impact. In his role, he leads projects for a range of clients to understand, identify and assess impact,
applying his extensive expertise in social value research, non-market valuation techniques and cost benefit analysis. He has
worked across projects in housing, infrastructure, education and sports sectors.
His clients have included the Canal and River Trust, the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, the Environment
Agency and the West Yorkshire Combined Authority. Edward has recently led a project on behalf of the OA working
with nine Ombudsman bodies to scope our the potential for measuring the impact of the sector.
