King's College London
Joe is Professor of Administrative Law at The Dickson Poon School of Law, King's College London. He leads
(with Dr Jed Meers) the Administrative Fairness Lab - a research group focused on administrative justice.
Outside of King’s College, Joe is a Research Fellow at the Institute for Fiscal Studies and a member of the
Academic Panel at Blackstone Chambers.
He is also a Trustee of the Public Law Project, a London-based legal charity. Joe's research has been cited at all levels of the UK courts and tribunals, including the UK Supreme Court, and has been widely used in public administration and policymaking. In 2023, he was awarded the Philip Leverhulme Prize in Law.
